Community project volunteering - Kent community rail partnership
We want everyone in your area to know about their opportunities to walk, wheel and cycle to and from the train station(s) in your area.
Depending on your availability and interests, you can support this project in many ways to promote the use of trains and sustainable travel to and from your local station. You can:
- assist with inclusive led walks, wheels and cycles to and from a train station
- assist with projects to make sustainable travel easier
- help make improvements to your local station(s), such as making a garden and looking after it or involving the local community in station artwork.
Just let us know how you would like to help on this project in the application form. We can then have a chat about it together. Training and support will be provided during your time volunteering.

Volunteering for everyone with Sustrans
We are committed to representing the diverse communities we work with, and we welcome people from all backgrounds to volunteer with us. We commit to equity and an inclusive culture, so volunteering is for everyone.
We believe that a diverse and inclusive organisation brings with it a diversity of ideas and ways of working, which strengthens everything we do.
Please have a look at the website above and our Volunteering agreement before you join. Then you know what we all expect from each other when volunteering.
